If you have sensitive skin, you probably already know it. Sensitive skin is often compared to the skin of babies and young children – fair, delicate and almost translucent. It is, however, sensitive to heat and cold, and can become dry and taut to such a degree that it is red, itchy and painful. For some, this may be a lifelong problem. For others, it may only last until the irritating factors have been eliminated. A sensitive skin reaction can express itself as redness, itching, burning and sometimes even small pustules filled with a watery liquid.
